About Me
Hi, I’m Emilie Landi! I’m a junior in high school from San Jose, CA, with a deep passion for biology and genetics. As I look ahead to college, I’m excited to explore these fields further and discover new ways they can make a difference in our lives.

Growing up, I witnessed my mother’s ongoing health struggles. She was born with health issues that required her to visit the hospital regularly, sometimes multiple times a month. From a young age, I remember feeling helpless, unable to do anything as I watched her go through so much suffering. It was difficult, not knowing how to make things better.

However, in the last few years, I’ve seen my mother transform into an advocate for her own health. She’s taken her wellness into her own hands, exploring approaches beyond the traditional medical system, and the difference it’s made in her life has been nothing short of inspiring. It’s this journey of empowerment and self-advocacy that has driven my interest in the field of genetics and biology. I want to understand the science behind our health more deeply so that I can one day help others, like my mom, take control of their own wellness.

I started this project because I believe that every teenage girl deserves to feel empowered when it comes to their health. My goal is to inspire other young women to take charge of their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Health isn’t just about the body—it’s about all parts of who we are, and I want to help others feel confident in managing and understanding their own health journeys.
Through this platform, I hope to create a supportive space where people can learn from speakers in different professions, gaining insights and knowledge that can help them make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
